The Office of the Building
Inspector:
-
Establishes and maintains records of applications, plans, specifications,
inspections and other for Building Permits which have been issued.

Accepts applications for and issues building, electrical, plumbing,
heating/air conditioning, land use, occupancy and other related Village
permits.

Conducts on-site inspections of all buildings and structures during and
after construction to assure compliance with Village and state codes.
-
Notifies permit holders, contractors and property owners of code violations
and takes necessary steps to obtain code compliance
