| The
Village Clerk/Treasurer is appointed by the Village Board. The Village Clerk's
office is located on the first floor of the Village Municipal Facility and is
where you can find all of the official records for the Village of Winneconne,
including the agendas and minutes for Village Board meetings, Village committee
meetings and all Village boards and commissions, and copies of the Village of
Winneconne ‘s Ordinances.
The Village Clerk is also in charge of all elections. The Village Clerk's office maintains all of the voting equipment and collects, tabulates, and reports election results.
Specific duties of the Village Clerk/Treasurer include the following: -
Issuing of Municipal licenses as required by local ordinance and State statute including: alcohol, bartender, beverage, and cigarettes.

Maintaining special assessments for sewer and water, asphalt, and curb and gutter, and special charges for property improvements.

Preserving all contracts, bonds, and oaths of office.

Publication of all legal notices, filing and indexing of all proceedings of the Village Board of Trustees.

Safekeeping and maintaining all election records as required by the laws of the State of Wisconsin.

Collects Real Estate, Personal Property, and Special Assessment Taxes

Sends out Tax Bills, and Delinquency Notices

Reconciles Annual Tax Roll

Collects all Cash Collections including Water and Sewer, License and Permit Fees, Municipal Court Fines and Tax Payments

Prepares Deposits, and Cash Reconciliations
