Full-time Public Works Laborer

Village of Winneconne is accepting applications for consideration of full-time public works laborer until February 3, 2012.  Duties include, but are not limited to, water and sewer distribution, street, right-of-way, grounds, parks, vehicle, equipment and building maintenance.  CDL license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire is required.    Ideal candidate shall be a self starter, a team player with good oral, written and personal skills, able to work alone with minimal supervision and able to handle a large amount of contact with the public.  Starting wage $17.31 per hour and requires completion of a 6 month probationary period.  Candidate will need to pass drug test and physical as condition of employment.  Certification in water/wastewater operations is a plus, but not required.  Application form, job description and experience form are available at www.winneconnewi.gov and click on “employment”, “public works laborer position” or in person at Village Hall, 30 South 1st Street, Winneconne, WI  54986.
