| VILLAGE OF WINNECONNE RESIDENTS Village of Winneconne residents will see a change in recycling pickup effective July 1, 2007. Veolia Waste has a new truck, which can pick up both garbage and recycling. As in the past, garbage and recycling will be picked up on Mondays for residents on Main Street and South of Main Street. However, residents North of Main Street will now have garbage and recycling pickup on Thursdays. Another major difference will be the way the recycling will be picked up. There will be recyclables picked up each week, either co-mingled or paper. One week the truck will pickup co-mingled items, and the following week will be paper items. Please refer to the calendar mailed mid-June to all Village residents. CO-MINGLED items include aluminum cans, tin cans, glass, and plastic PAPER items include newspaper, cardboard, magazines, and fiberboard GARBAGE AND RECYCLING DAYS MONDAYS - MAIN STREET AND SOUTH OF MAIN STREET THURSDAYS - NORTH OF MAIN STREET Please clearly separate garbage from recycling.
