The “Little House” was the second addition to the Historical Society Museum in Marble Park, as a 1976 Bicentennial Project. It had been part of the Children’s Country Home, formerly located in the Lake Winneconne Park. It provides a turn-of-the century setting featuring a country kitchen. A visitor will recall fond memories of baking on a wood stove, emptying the pan under the wooden ice box, and using a cistern pump for water. Many kitchen utensils long gone from modern kitchens are on display. Also of interest will be the Victorian parlor setting.
