The Village of Winneconne Parks & Recreation Department is committed to improving the quality of life for all village residents and visitors.
The department maintains and operates:

28 acre Lake Winneconne Park, its boat launch, island protected channel, shelters and playgrounds.

44 acre Arthur Marble Park home to the 4 acre village swimming pond, 3 ball fields, basketball courts, volleyball courts, archery range and toddler and youth playground equipment.

The fishing channel traversing Marble Park with its improved paths on each shore with handicap accessible fishing spots
-
Waterfront Park with frontage on the beautiful Wolf River, home to a 22 slip public docking facility and amphitheater.

North 1st Street boat launching facilities and adjacent docks
In addition the department organizes, plans, and develops a diversified program of recreation and park activities for all ages.

Specific duties of the Village Parks and Recreation Director include the following:

Under the supervision of the Village Administrator and the Parks Board is
responsible for
directing, and controlling all activities of the Parks and Recreation Department.

Develops and implements policies, procedures, and practices to accomplish objectives and maintain existing programs for the department.

Insures that all village parks grounds and facilities are properly maintained.

Assures the efficient and economical use of Parks Department funds and other resources.

Schedules, assigns and supervises department staff in accordance with project or program requirements.

Prepares monthly activity reports for presentation to the Village Parks Board.

Attends all meetings of the Village Parks Board and Village Board as directed.

Preparation of the annual Parks & Recreation Department Budget for review by the Village Administrator and consideration by the Village Parks Board and the Village Board.
