The Village of Winneconne is proud and thankful for employees and family member who have served. Thank you.
Here are just a few of the many who have or are currently serving our country.
It’s that time of year again when parents and children across the country are preparing to go back to school. ADT would like to help you with your preparations by offering these simple safety tips.
School has been in session now for a few weeks. By now all the students, staff and parents should have noticed the new school resource officer (SRO), Officer Honer from the Winneconne Police Department. After the Winneconne School Board and the Village Public Safety Committee agreed that it would be in everyone's best interest to have an SRO full time at the schools, Officer Honer was assigned to that position. Part of the reason to put him at the schools was to handle all incidents involving any ordinance or criminal violations. Officer Honer is doing much more than handling violations, he is building positive relationships with the students, faculty and parents Office Honer is at all three schools daily.
Just a friendly reminder - no plastic bags in recycling carts. It creates unnecessary waste and they get caught up in the sorting equipment. Thanks!
