Winneconne is located on the Wolf River with 160,000-165,000-acres of waterways access to Lake Winneconne, Lake Poygan, Lake Butte Des Morts, and Lake Winnebago. The Wolf River bisects our community, and at the north and south boundaries of the Village you will find Lake Winneconne and Butte des Morts. Whether you are looking for a nice place to visit or a new place to call home, Winneconne is the place to be.

Sovereign State Days
Sovereign State Days, an annual community celebration, highlights the rich history of Winneconne dating back to 1846. This event began as a response to the Village's exclusion from the official state map, with the Village seceding from the State of Wisconsin.
