Garbage Collection
Harter’s Lakeside Disposal is the Village's new refuse and recycling provider. Harter’s is a Wisconsin-based, family-owned company focused on customer service. Collection occurs every Friday, except for holidays - if a holiday falls on or before Friday, pickup will be on Saturday. For any inquiries including missed pickups, please contact Harter's at (920) 552-5412 or visit their website www.harterslakeside.com.
Single Stream Recycling
Single stream recycling allows all recyclables—paper, cardboard, cans, and bottles—to be mixed together for collection. Trash should never be mixed with recyclables.
No Separation Needed
Single stream recycling increases convenience and participation by allowing all recyclables to be placed together. Collection is also more efficient because all materials are collected in one compartment of the truck.
Plastic Bags
Plastic bags of any color are not accepted (policy effective January 2010). Plastic bags should not be used for any single stream recycling.
Keep It Clean
Please rinse cans and bottles to remove food and liquids. This helps protect paper and other recyclables from contamination when mixed together in a single stream system.
